

WOMEN OF TRANSFIGURATION CHURCH (WOTC)
All women (ages 18 & older) of Transfiguration Church are invited to participate in this women's group. The women meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10 AM in the Parish Hall from September through May. We start with refreshments and a short business meeting followed by the program. Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Founder's Hall. Guest speakers from "Friends of the Arts" will discuss how they assist the local school music and art programs while providing scholarships to gifted students. Hope you can join us! Bring a friend!

NOVEMBER MEETING
Attended Mass & took a tour of the Basilica of St. Mary in Wilmington. This Basilica is one of five churches in the Diocese of Raleigh designated as a 2025 JUBILEE church.

our patron saint - St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was chosen as the patron saint of WOTC. As the first American-born saint, she established what is now known as the Catholic parochial school system. She also founded the Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph, an order focusing on service to the poor, one of the pillars of our mission.
